Labels

Labels allow you to organize your events and traces after you've sent them to Autoblocks.

Create a label

  1. Navigate to the labels page
  2. Click Create Label in the top right
  3. Enter a name for your label
  4. Click Save

Add a label to a trace

  1. Navigate to the explore page
  2. Ensure group by trace is enabled
  3. Expand a trace by selecting the chevron icon
  4. Click the Add Label button
  5. Select the label from the dropdown

Trace labels will display even when group by trace is disabled. When group by trace is disabled, trace labels are displayed with an asterisk. See image below for an example.

Removing a label from a trace

  1. Navigate to the explore page
  2. Ensure group by trace is enabled
  3. Expand a trace by selecting the chevron icon
  4. Select the x icon next to the label you want to remove

Labels can also be added to and removed from traces on the trace details page.

Add a label to an event

  1. Navigate to the explore page
  2. Ensure group by trace is disabled
  3. Expand an event by selecting the chevron icon
  4. Click the Add Label button
  5. Select the label from the dropdown

You can also add and remove labels to events by expanding a trace and selecting the chevron icon next to an event. See image below for an example.

Removing a label from an event

  1. Navigate to the explore page
  2. Ensure group by trace is disabled
  3. Expand an event by selecting the chevron icon
  4. Select the x icon next to the label you want to remove

Labels can also be added to and removed from events on the trace details page.

Filtering for labels

  1. Navigate to the explore page
  2. Select Add Event Filter
  3. Select label from the first dropdown
  4. Select the label you want to filter by on the second dropdown

Regardless of the group by trace toggle, traces that match the label filter and traces with events that match the label filter will be returned.
